Jessica Lawrence joined our Atlanta law firm, Mozley, Finlayson & Loggins, in 2004. She practices in the areas of labor and employment, premises liability, and commercial litigation. She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2004, and has been admitted to practice in the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Mrs. Lawrence spent three years as Senior Legal Counsel for Labor and Employment at a national Fortune 1000 company with over 10,000 employees. In addition to managing employment litigation, Ms. Lawrence specialized in corporate training, management advice and policy development.
Mrs. Lawrence was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She attended Denison University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Educational Studies. She received her J.D. from Emory University in 2004. During law school, Mrs. Lawrence was a member and comments editor for the Bankruptcy Developments Journal.
Ms. Lawrence is involved in the community, serving on the Ridgeview Middle School Governance Counsel, RCMS Foundation, High Point Elementary PTO and as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. Ms. Lawrence is an elder at Peachtree Presbyterian Church and served as chair of its HR Committee.
